It’s definitely not the typical tour you would get even if it is a private one. It may sound exaggerated but this really is from the wonderful experience we had.  I along with my family ...parents..kids...booked for a private tour of Switzerland for 3 days with Sal. And o wow, he is revelation, we have been to many private tours earlier, and almost all are about following a sequence of events which the guide has thought might interest you, but not Sal.
 He makes the trip so personally engaging that you forget that he is a stranger, his family supports him in his passion of delighting tourists, which delivers the unbeatable punch. We were delighted with his hospitality, his engagement with each member of the group...my lil one and my father became a lifelong fan of his....and above all his respect for our wishes out of swiss excursion...... 
 
 He is an excellent photographer...which is a huge plus as he takes candid/sequence photos of your entire group/family which is not possible otherwise.....and has such deep knowledge of the hidden treasures that just leaves you in awe!!!
 
 We went to places which are not in tour checklist...at least not for indian tourists... mt. Rigi...konstanz...Stein am Rhine.....and a memorable drive back from Lucerne to Zurich via lake of 4 cantons.....that was the show stopper... 
 
 Not to miss ....the wish of ours to sit by the lake and dip our feet in water ....while the entire swiss alps are in the backdrop.....what a trip...
 
 Don't hire him if you are looking for a cyborg- my fav word for human robots .......hire him if you are looking for making a happy and fantabulous memory for yourself and your family.
 
 If it's Switzerland....it needs to be Sal.

What a bloody great time we had, tour was suppose to be for around 4 hours, but due to the weather coming in the next day which would have cancelled that tour Sal extended the 4 hour one to about 9 hours so we could get the best out of the one day. While talking to Sal we learnt that 2 days later he was free so we asked if he could take us down to Lake Como to catch the ferry over to Bellagio, that was not a problem and what another great adventure we had on the way down seeing towns and places that we would never have seen on the train. Thanks very much Sal for the great service, keep well and kind regards to the family even though we did not meet them through our chats I feel we did. Kind regards, Strop and Kaye. read less
